Welcome to my site, I’m Bill and it’s always been my goal to find a way to make money online so that I could be my own Boss and live on my own terms. I’ve tried numerous things in the past to try to earn money from home—everything from completing those silly online surveys to selling on eBay. I even tried Network Marketing but quickly realized I hated recruiting people.
There’s very little I hate more in this world than having to pick up the phone to call leads, or trying to approach people in public to pitch them on my business opportunity. It gives me a lot of anxiety and nervousness. I don’t consider myself a good conversationalist and am certainly not a salesman by any stretch of the imagination. I’ve always been shy and more of an Introvert who prefers the company of my own thoughts and feelings to the company of other people.
Rather than give up on my dream, I kept looking for something I could do online that would mesh well with my personality type. Affiliate Marketing is a good fit for me as I don’t have the stress of approaching people in public, making phone calls, or randomly messaging strangers on Facebook to pitch them my “opportunity”. As someone who hates selling in a direct face-to-face capacity, Affiliate Marketing makes the most sense to me.
I’ve bought different courses in the past that claimed they were going to teach you Affiliate Marketing, but a lot of these courses teach you very little beyond spamming your Affiliate link on traffic safelist sites and across social media. They’ve all been disappointing, and a waste of money to say the least. Instead of wallowing in pity over it, I’ve decided to take a proactive approach and review some of these courses on this blog.
As a member of Wealthy Affiliate, this website is going to serve as a case study for me to see if their training is legit or just a bunch of hype. I like the idea of having the ability to generate traffic through search engines where I can make potential sales on auto-pilot rather than desperately chase people down in public or on the Internet. If I can get one of my review articles ranked on the first page of Google, that will solidify my belief in Wealthy Affiliate and I’ll remain a member for a long time.
